The estate has existed since 1692, it was under the reign of Louis XIV that the first Alary of a long line settled in Cairanne to cultivate the land and the vines, which at that time was not the only crop. Today, only the vine has resisted, it occupies all their hillsides up to the plain. It must be said that the climatology of Cairanne is particular and very favorable to the vine, associated with exceptional terroirs, they obtain great white and red wines.
Domaine Alary consists of a great diversity of soils in organic cultivation since 2009. Cairanne has soils of rolled pebbles, like those which made the glory of a large neighboring vineyard, and produces generous, deep and elegant wines. The vines are cultivated on 29 hectares including 24.5 hectares of red and 5.3 hectares of white with an average age of 35 years.
