100% Chenin Blanc planted and replaced from 1935 to 2008. Located in the
communes of Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, and Bizay, clay and limestone soil. Organic and thee pruning method is Guyau Val de Loire. Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard. The grapes go through Whole-cluster pressing, indigenous yeast fermentation. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tank.
Saumur is France's best area for Chenin blanc, which is the nutty, tart, and salty grape of the Loire Valley. Domaine Guiberteau makes wine in a lively and crisp style.
