Declassified Gevrey-Chambertin vines.
Although labeled Bourgogne Rouge, Cuvée Halinard is sourced from vineyards at the foot of Gevrey-Chambertin, with vines ranging from approximately 25 to 75 years of age. Farmed organically, the wine is aged 15–18 months in barrel before bottling without filtration.
Expect vibrant red cherry, raspberry and subtle spice framed by fine tannins and classic Gevrey structure. Equal parts approachable and cellar-worthy, Halinard has become one of Burgundy's benchmark "insider" Bourgogne bottlings.
