Cloaked in a dark cherry robe, pantagruel 2018 has a sweet aromatic bouquet of cherries, black raspberries, black olive tapenade, savory herbs, Chinese five spice, and dark chocolate. At 13.2% alcohol, this wine is perfectly balanced with a vibrant freshness and crunch. The wine possesses a suave, medium-bodied delivery, which makes it both quite easy drink and offers the aromatic complexity of a serious, contemplative wine. The flavors unfold with brighter red and black fruits, green herbs, olives, smoked meat, and dark chocolate wrapped in bacon.
