Playing with Fire is a rosé d’assemblage composed of 85% meuniers and the addition of an experimental Pinot Noir Coteaux Champenois. It’s the first rosé of that kind (the Delalot rose Les Illuminations is a rose of maceration).
This wine had been made with a soft voluntary oxidation. Aged only 3 months in barrique The result is a Pinot Meunier champagne that has been turned in a very soft rosé. The taste has a very beautiful bitterness.
The cuvée is named after a song of the industrial rock band Godflesh.
