- Vinification: 30-50% whole cluster, ambient yeast fermentation in open wood vats with punch-downs. Aged 18-20 months in barrels (approx. 30% new). Short blending period in tank before bottling.
Mid purple. Graceful, gentle red fruit on the nose. Starts attractively on the palate with strawberry and some cherry, then suddenly a much deeper burst of fruit, especially cherry, before refined tannins to finish. Drink from 2028-2034. -90-92 - JM
