Located in the Arbois region of the Jura, Pinte made history when they converted to organic agriculture in 1999 and ten years later became certified biodynamic! Their diverse array of soils - blue and red marls allows them to make both stunning examples of both red and white grapes native to the Jura. The reds are destemmed and then fermented in either barrel or cement tanks. Biodynamic viticulture allows for the yeasts to grow on the skins of the grapes, so fermentations are native and spontaneous. They use only a little bit of sulfur, when needed before pressing or just before bottling.
