Valle de la Orotava is located on the north-central part of Tenerife. It has a distinctive and trademark humidity that gets pushed into the valley by the Alisos trade winds. Vines here are typically very old and trained in the unique cordon trenzado method where canes are braided together and held up by posts. Some of the vines can reach up to 20m in length. Vines are found between 400-800m elevation and there is more clay in the volcanic soils here.

Vines over 100 years from 4 towns in Valle de La Orotava planted between 400-850m. Fermented in concrete, aged in foudre and used barrels for about 10 months.
