The 2020 Beaune Montreveneaux 1er Cru is composed and focused, the oak neatly integrated here (20%), touches of undergrowth coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity, quite tensile on the finish with admirable definition. I think this is a level up from the 2019. -VM
