Nervi is the oldest operating winery in Gattinara (still currently producing), comprising 28.5 hectares across some of the regions top crus. Founded in 1906, the winery was purchased last year by Robert Conterno, bringing new excellence to the winery’s three single-vineyard cuvées. ‘Valferana’ is hand-harvested and destemmed, fermented and aged in wood for 40 months. Notes of red berries, bramble, & roses dominate, with soft, integrated tannins.
