Camp 4 vineyard is planted on marine sedimentary loam, soil that comes from ocean deposits 2 million years ago, giving this Vermentinu great nutrients and minerals to thrive. It also retains water extremely well, making it ideal for the current drought happening in California in recent years. Marine sedimentary loam also resembles soil from the NE part of Corsica, a section of the island called Alpine Corsica.Fermented in both concrete eggs and French oak, along with further aging in old wood, Camp 4 is a fresh, dry white with aromas of jasmine blossoms and vine peach that leap from the glass.
