The Furmint grape variety does not yet enjoy an international reputation, but Royal Tokaji feels it deserves one. The majority of the grapes were harvested in the commune of Mád with a very small proportion from Royal Tokaji’s Mézes Mály vineyard in the neighboring commune of Tarcal. Fermentation: 60% fermented and aged in barrel (new, second- and third-year Hungarian oak), 40% fermented and aged in stainless steel.
